Meeting was called to order
at
Minutes of the March meeting
were approved as corrected.
Treasurer’s Report:
Kathy reported that there were 270 tables at the April
Sectional resulting in a small loss.
President’s Report:
Barb
stated that a scholarship award in the name of Michele Allen had been created
by Victor Vertes, Marlene Zinamon and the West Side Bridge Club which will be
presented at the August sectional.
Additional donations are very welcome.
She then introduced the new board members: Harriet Kitay, Ellen Miles, Frank Scali,
Mary Lou Vermerris and Roz Sukenik and requested nominations for
President.
Ginny Young
was elected president and the meeting turned over to her. Ginny requested nominations for Vice
President—Peter Miller was elected, Secretary—Sue Pisanelli was elected and
Treasurer—Cathy Wolford was elected.
Ginny asked for chairs for the 0-299r Sectional to be held in October. Barb Bacon and Mary Lou Vermerris volunteered to chair this event.
New Business:
Wayne Ward suggested that board members sign up to play
with different partners at the Unit game following the board meetings. A sign up sheet will be provided.
